Strength Potentials of Rattan Reinforced Concrete Using Concrete Grade C30/35

Steel reinforcements have been widely used in concrete work order to help improve its tensile resistance against applied loads. But steel is susceptible corrosion due water ingress through cracks, increased cost of purchase and dangers associated with maximizing profit greed. Rattan fiber also known be a suitable structural material both compression tension. Hence, this study examines the extent application rattan concrete. Experimental investigation was carried out on conventional (CC), reinforced cubes (RR, RS SR), control beams (CTBM) (RRBM, RSBM SRBM). Compressive Flexural strength tests were conducted samples at 7,14,21 28 days. The results revealed great potential when included work. obtained approximately twice that modulus Rupture (MoR) for all beam similar trend. concludes can partially replace main bars by 50% applications light load bearing elements like lintel beams, roof spandrel.
